It is my humble opinion. . .
that bread makes a meal,
and it really isn't a meal unless it has some of these! :-)
(Never mind how many I ate yesterday!)

We made the mistake of forgetting to set the bread out for dinner yesterday before leaving for church. Talk about a disappointment. I think maybe a person could live on bread alone don't you? ha

Could eat about a half dozen of those right now... Maybe I will make some today. Yep, I do love those rolls.

Wow! Those do look yummy. I just recently discovered a recipe for refrigerator whole wheat rolls. They are sooo good. I hardly ever make rolls though because they make so many. Have you ever frozen them before they rise the last time? I've though about trying that but always seem to forget until it's to late. (Thought it might work like Rhodes rolls)

Those look awesome. Did you make them? Lately I have been cheating and getting store bought rolls. They have some good ones now but that picture reminds that you can't beat homemade.
Have a great 4th:)

Oh, those do look very yummy!! I love to make rolls. The nice excuse for you right now is: "one for me, one for baby; one for me, one for baby..." :-)

Have a great Monday!!!

I love bread. I think it's the reason for these big hips... You must be feeling better if you're scarfing rolls. We're glad your tummy has decided to cooperate!

Can you package up a few of those and send them on up to Ohio? :-) They look delicious and I'm with you - bread is wonderful. I have to be careful at restaurants where they bring rolls before your meal. I could fill up on the bread!

Hey, Martha, haven't gooten to make those rolls yet today. My mother-in-law brought Faith's birthday present over, and it was a pool big enough for me and both children to sit in... so I played outside with my kids, now I need to fold laundry while they are napping... but, I had to write you because I didn't know if you knew that I have a blogsite now, and thought you might like to see a picture of the girls... it is theroncookfamily.blogspot.com
May make up those yummy rolls later tonight to raise for tomorrow.

We can hardly wait for the sappy July 4th commentary, complete with flag picture ripped from the internet.

Martha Going,
I would be crying if I had forgotten the rolls! :-(
Dorcas,
I have never tried to freeze; great idea. I just cut the recipes in half.
Concerning these rolls, yes, I did make them. It is a wonderful recipe that you can mix the night before and cut out in the morning. Love it! It makes up to 27-30 rolls, but I make them larger and fewer. This bread loving family eats all of them. I (ahem) have been known to eat a dozen myself. (Sheepish grin!)

Grinch,
I won't disappoint you; there is one coming! :-) By the way, look who is talking - I got your posting about the life of a soldier. Hmmmmm. Seems like the same patriotic blood must flow through your veins!

Martha,
Must confess I made up some rolls the next day... Got interesting cravings. My mom told me she made soup beans one day, the next day I had to have them, then the same with your rolls... now I have been eating cookie dough ice cream... I actually loved the beans I made so much, I think I ate nearly 5 BOWLS in one day!
Still gagging about some stuff, but other foods I can't get enough. You know, I think I am starting to feel my baby kicking these days... I am so excited!
How's your cravings, gags, etc?

You're funny, Sarah. Thankfully most of my nausea/gagging has disappeared. (Hope I don't have a relapse since I typed that!)
