I just thought about you doing this the other day. I love the light. I like the steps and rail. I love colored walls with light trim, just don't know if I would pick that exact color.

The walls, the floor, the staircase and the light! It's a beautiful foyer.

I like the fact that it has an elegant and warm feeling but it's a little too "empty" to be a home foyer. Reminds me more of a courthouse, or something. I like a house that makes me feel comfortable. :)

I like the lemons and flower arrangement, but is that table in the middle of the floor? That would never work for us, it would be knocked over with speedy dd buzzing around and I would fall over it, forgetting it was there, LOL.

I noticed the chandelier first, although it's not really my taste. The floor is ok, but I love the arrangement! Very pretty!

The lights looked inviting. I like the clean lines. No frills....not overdone.

Oh, yay - I love doing this.
Love the colors, the wall lamps, the staircase, the lemon centerpiece. Not crazy about the floor or that chandelier.
All in all, beautiful and inviting!

I adore that color. That's fairly close to what I'm thinking of doing in the downstairs bathroom tomorrow.

I love the color of the walls, the lighting...it's just a beautiful picture...

It looks clean! Ha! I did notice the stairway floor is shining, there are no toys on the floor, or figureprints on the wall, and yes, the fact that the table is in the middle of the floor! They must not have children! It is very nice, though! The lemon idea is neat!

I love so many different styles so I love the whole thing. It did bring back memories of a house I used to clean--(bad memories)! The lady had a table in the entry etc. The rug under the table she told us cost $10,000 and the rug in the office was $20,000!!I really need to post someday about the catastrophe that I was responsible for at that very house!!!!!

The very first thing that I noticed when I looked at the picture was the chandelier. I like the color walls with the light trim, I'm planning to do that to my living room as soon as hubby and I can agree on a color for the walls! :)

I like how the cabinet against the back wall is lined up with the center of the diamonds on the floor :)

I LOVE the beautiful antique (?) cabinet against the back wall -- such character!

Thanks for all the input. I love seeing what others have to say! You gals bring out so many things I wouldn't even notice - like the cabinet in line with the diamonds. Funny that now it stands out every time I see the picture.
Norma Gwen, your comment made me chuckle! :-) If this were my foyer, I would have the table against the wall for the sake of flying boys! And speaking of overdone. . .Remember the house loaded with lace, Nancy? I should post that photo!

Julie, out with the story! I am dying to here it.
