A night at the. . .
Monday was the evening the understudies (Troy was in this group.) performed for the guest artists, and since we are family (Last time I checked we were.), the boys and I were permitted to watch the activities. A friend also came along to help in case I needed to leave with the baby. (Thanks, Ashley!) This was Troy's last big assignment of grad school, and starting next week, he will start to have a bit of a life again. I enjoyed it very much - especially since it falls in the comic opera category, and there isn't much in this world that compares to a live orchestra! The strings just melt me.
Pardon the poor quality of the photo. I didn't think I was supposed to have a camera, so I did not want to take chances with the flash. Consequently the photos are not great at this setting, and it did not help that I was in the balcony. Troy is on the left, and his friend (Jonathan) sits in the chair. They are not in costume since the guest artist costume was too big for Troy, and the one for Jonathan was not his size either.

Ready for the show!
Lovely picture of my skirt! This is what happens when you are sneaking a picture and suddenly realize the flash is on. I quickly slammed the camera into my lap, and voila - my laptop! :-)

And it's a LOVELY skirt, my dear!
what will you do after Troy graduates? Does he have a job lined up?
I thought of you when I saw this article. It talks about getting a cheap price for a Kitchen Aid mixer.

Dear "Kitchen Aid" Anonymous, Thanks so much for your help. It was very kind of you to pass along the info. I am all about saving money! :-)
Other Anonymous,
Do you really think I am going to reveal any future plans in this manner - especially since you will not sign your name, and I have no clue what you would do with the info?! If you are from my church, feel free to ask me on Sunday. If you are not, feel free to leave your name and email address and maybe I will answer you. :-)
Pardon me, I'm sorry. I really didn't mean to offend. It's not like you won't post about your move, Troy's job etc. when it takes place anyway. The internet isn't so private that everyone can't know where you are now anyway. Google is amazing, and it takes less than 10 seconds to have a person's address and phone number (try it). I found that I irritated another blogger with a similar question a week or so back (Heather in Columbia didn't list her furlough dates 'cause she didn't want to be so personal, but she'll announce everything anyway in a few weeks. I regularly pray for people she posts about and ask for updates - especially the girl that fell on the rebar). I thought bloggers were pretty personal, so I didn't think they cared. I don't blog and don't post my name 'cause I do like to stay anon. Again, I really am sorry. Truly didn't mean to upset you. AND, I'm the same as the Kitchen Aid anon. You don't know me, but I'm a BJU grad. I found your blog through a link on a missionary's blog. So, I apologize.
Please do not feel badly, Anonymous! I have a few people in my life who might try to be sneaky and find out this info, so I was trying to weed them out. :-) Keep us in your prayers if you think of it. We need God's direction for the future and have some big decisions to make in the next few months. Have a great day and thanks for your tip!
