isn't so little now. At his 2 1/2 mo check up, he weighed in at 14 lbs and 2 oz. Not bad for a baby that was born four weeks early! His oldest brother who was full term and sported a whopping 9 lb, 13 oz body at birth was about 16 lbs/13 oz around 3 mo. At the doctor's office on Tuesday, I did some rough figures in my head, and it seems that Silas has grown two inches each month and gained an average of two ounces a day. I think that is great - especially since I am the cook. :-)

He is really growing up and getting big!!!! Thanks for sharing the pictures!!!
He's adorable! You'd never know he was a preemie!
Apparently he approves of the menu choices! :)
Wow! He's growing so fast! What sweet smiles!
He is squeezably adorable! My babies always did great on my "cooking" so I love chubby babies. The down side is they are newborn size for about 2 wks.
He is so cute, Martha! Love the pictures!
He is HUGE! Wow! My baby is gaining weight quickly too! My others did not gain weight so quickly, though they were born large for gestational age. Baby Hope is putting on pounds, but Silas! Wow! You must be spending all day "cooking" or your "food" is very fattening!
Congrats to the cook!! ;-) I just love chubby baby esp. since you know he's gaining it from all very healthy food. :-) Cute pics.!!
He's a big boy! I especially loved the Suns outfit from Grandpa Roy!!!
He is adorable. Thanks for sharing. It's amazing how fast they grow!
So cute!
He's adorable. All three of your boys are growing fast. It goes way too quick.
Martha, I really enjoyed these pictures. He looks like a happy little guy. He's fortunate that he has such good big brothers to entertain him!
Wow, he IS growing! And looking so much like Daddy and big brothers. No doubt about the Castle genes, eh?
Wow! He's caught up with his cousin Lilly! Being early didn't slow him down one bit! I love seeing all the pictures. Does he still look a lot like Ethan did? I can sure see that he looks like Troy's baby pictures!
I noticed on the bju fine arts calendar that Troy's recital is approaching. Is this his last year? WOW, time flies. What are you plans for May? Will you be moving?
