I apologize, Mr. SC Weatherman!
Yes, my dear friend/neighbor from New York, Kim, and I had a grand time making fun of last night's weather report. Today? We are eating our words. Eating them happily - I might add! :-) Never thought I'd see these scenes in Dixie. Ahhhhh. . .such a glorious sight to gaze outside and see flakes headed downward. The boys were equally thrilled, and Ethan announced that he was so proud of God that He made it snow!

Missie had a blast today; she went sledding most of the day. I am so glad we got snow and not ice! Our power was only off for about 6 hrs., much better than 5 days with the last winter storm we had here.

David's Mom sent over a picture of the snow. I said Martha Castle is one happy girl today. Several mornings we have been greeted with a dusting of snow. Bitter winds make me wish this season over though.
Happy for the snow the boys got to play in! We had the opposite effect, we were supposed to get6-8 inches and only got 1, still enough to pull the sled around in though!

I hope our weather man is wrong about this weekend---it's supposed to get down to a very low 0!!!! I hate when it's that cold!

My sister was very excited about the snow there! Like everyone else, it's supposed to be bitter cold this weekend and too cold to snow!
