Homeward bound...or so it seems
The epiphany mentioned in the previous post has occurred! Silas seems to have seen the importance of "promptly waking up to ingest his 'liquid nourishment' with great vigour." Today, he has been heartily and regularly "eating copious measures of his 'liquid nourishment'." The pediatrician said today that if all continues to go as it has been, he should be able to go home tomorrow.

Martha's in the room with him now, having been "discharged" today. She was so happy to be able to spend the night in the same room with him for the first time. I think he'll probably be happy too, especially come feeding time... :-)

IF all goes as planned and UNLESS we have any unforeseen setbacks, you should be "hearing" from her next rather than from me. Thanks again for your tolerance.

Adieu!

(Sorry no new pics -- I left the camera sitting on the desk at home when I left this morning, and you've already seen the best of what I've taken.)

Thank you, Troy, for taking time at the end of what must have been an extremely busy day to post this update. It is -- or certainly seems to be -- GOOD NEWS! Will be looking forward to thoughts from the Queen. I'm sure Princes #1 and #2 (as well as the King) are anxious to have the Queen and Prince #3 at home! Lots of love to all of you!

Dear Martha, Troy, and little Silas

Congratulations! We are so glad your home has been blessed again with a gift from God. Sorry you had all the complications though. Looks like you're on the upward climb and that is great!

We have also been blessed with a miracle straight from God. He gave us a son, Colton Ross, this past May 31. He is now 5 months and 20 pounds! Go to my mom's blog at viewsfromcrandall and you can see pictures of him.

Jeff thinks Silas looks like Troy. I see you in him! I also had to have an emergency c-section after trying ALL day to have him NATURALLY. I went from one extreme to the next. However, GOd took great care of both of us. It may be hard to believe now, but you will be able to walk again. I thought I'd die when I had to start walking and they told me to take BIG steps...yeah right!!!!:)

You can reach us at jnshunt@hotmail.com

With love, Jeff, Susan and Colton Hunt
