A "bunch" of those other things we have been doing.
Upon arriving home from our "peaceful interruption" of Florida, we attacked the house with great vigor. You can almost feel like you've lived as a slob once you begin to brighten things for your potential buyers. :-) Thankfully we did not have too many big projects. Just do not ask me to touch another paint brush for a looong time!
Even though the days seemed to drag when we were continually leaving the house, it was quickly ended when after three weeks . . . we had a buyer!!!!!! We are currently awaiting a home inspection and close date of July 31st.
Besides the "lovely" adventures brought on by the house, we are becoming favorites of the "gucks" (Silas' interpretation) and geese at the lake as we often stop by with a loaf of bread.

Oh you poor dear; yard sales take so much work and then to have it all soaked? I am so sorry that had to happen. Did you make any money?

Grrr...about the garage sale! :)
I need to talk to you! :)
Josh, our neighbors got it out, and we all took it to a nearby creek. I hope he made a happy home there!
Norma, I made some, but it was not worth all the trouble!!!!!
Your little Silas is getting so big!
Oh the joys (or not) of selling a home & moving...I know about all that!! Thankfully, I never had to endure a garage sale in rain...just cold.
Hope all else goes well with your packing and moving. Thanks for posting all the pictures. We always enjoy them.
By the way...we're staying cool here this week...yesterday was about 68 and today's high is suppose to be 73!!!! Compared to last week of over 90, it doesn't seem like summer!
Been out of touch. Glad to get caught up with your blog! Where are you moving to?!
