How good the laughter felt!
Well, the tales have been flyin' by here in SC, and I finally grabbed a few to toss on this post. Whew! Things have been busy, and the computer is slow - not a good blog combo. The normal pace was loudly interrupted by a quick visit from two of my Cincinnati cousins - Emily and Leslie who joined me on a little trip to GA where we attended the funeral of our late Grandpa's brother. The three of us had more laughs in one day than in previous years combined, and my sides and face are still recovering! :-) I learned all manner of things about my cousins. One of them being the fact that Leslie is terrified of other people's driving. What fun Em and I had!!!!!! Les even resorted to spending part of the time under her jacket as we reached ungodly highway speeds to make up for lost time. (Time that was lost when Troy accidentally dropped the GPS in my glass of milk! That's another story. . .)
Notice Em's look of glee!
Notice Les' look of unglee.

With my Grandpa's sister - the only living Rollins from that generation.
Aunt Juanita and cousins of all degrees.
I had intended that the video be posted on the top, but since Bloggger is not cooperating, you'll have to visit the bottom. I captured the lovely video for some of the fam to see what happens when a bunch of us get too little sleep and too many laughs. I honestly cannot remember when I have laughed so much in one 24 hour span. Enjoy the video - especially you, Aunt Kathy! :-) That's your baby girl! Hee! Hee!
As for our "normal" and not so funny grind of life,
I have included a few pictures for your enjoyment.
We have a little boy who is quite fascinated with the Betta,
books with animal pictures,
and "caws."
He is in the midst of an early morning play session.

Love it! I had to laugh at the milky GPS, because it sounds like something that would happen here!
Who knew a trip to a funeral could be so much fun? Once again, thank you for opening your home to us (at 2 a.m.) and allowing the crazies to stay. I only wish we could have stayed longer.
Enjoyed the update and all the pictures - especially the cake eating one of Silas!
I guess one way to get you to blog is to remove your husband from the household! Glad you enjoyed your visit with your family. The three TBCs are enjoying their time together; and I'm looking forward to my visit with the Castles in far away lands! Loved all the pics -- naturally!
it amazes me how much your littlest boy looks like troy!!!
What a fun post! Enjoyed it!
It sure was a treat to get to catch up with you in person while we were in SC. Your church is very blessed with having your family as the music ministers. Silas is a hoot. I love the funny face he gives everyone. Give him a sqeeze for me. Take care!
