The little guy is -
one month old and "growing like a weed." I have been trying to snag attractive pictures since there are relatives and friends who love to see snapshots of the baby, but I find it almost impossible unless he is sleeping! He will have a pleasant expression (eyes open, too) and from the time I grab the camera and get the button pushed, he distorts his little face into some hideous expression, or he starts looking for something to eat. Or cries. Or turns his head. Or closes his eyes. Sticks out his tongue. I think you get my point.
Enjoy my attempts. :-)

Can't believe he's already a month old. What a cutie! Glad you are up and about and out running errands!

He's such a cutie. I cannot believe he is month old now, and growing so fast! I'm so glad that you have your precious baby and hopefully are mending well enough to enjoy Christmas with your family! =)

Love, Heather and baby!

You're right - it's hard to get a good picture at that age. I still have trouble getting Bryce to stand still long enough for me to get a decent picture. I'm sorry my post made you homesick. :-( Maybe I can package some of the snow up and send it your way! Hope you have a good weekend.

Sometimes he reminds me of Seth; sometimes he reminds me of Ethan; and sometimes he looks like his own little self! What a precious bundle! Glad you are finding a little time to share with us. Much love to all of you!

He is adorable, Martha!

My sister is in the same boat you're in -- she lives in Greenville SC and missing the winter weather terribly. She sends me little frowny faces in her emails! :o) My brother and SIL are in Belton and my brother has been there long enough he's gotten used to having very little white stuff.

It's killing me that I can't hold him! This just isn't right. He is SOOOOO cute!

I'll send my fluffy white stuff your way! The boys were out of school because of it on Wed. Today we have a 2 hr. delay.

I forgot to add:

I'm very proud of you for assembling those announcements. You did it very quickly.

For the internet record, I'm not Free Advice. Since you and I already spoke, I know you knew, but I didn't want the rest of the internet world (that knows we are related )to think I'd do something like that to you!

Mom C,
Yes, in some ways he looks like Ethan and others it is Seth, yet he has his own distinct look, too. Overall, his looks tend to remind me more of Ethan, but he acts more like Seth did as a baby.

Les,
This is the first time you haven't held one of my babies within a week or so. SC is a bit longer to reach than IN or Dayton. :-) Guess we won't "hold it against you." Ha.
