Since Ethan is battling a cold, there are not any pics of him with Silas. :-( He is dying to hold the baby and be around him, but I tell him to wave at Silas from across the room. When one has asthma, a common cold takes forever to leave!

Pardon the disjointed frown on the previous comment.

So precious! I can totally see how an 8-year-old would be helpful with a little one. Steven is 7 and would enjoy the task, I'm sure. BUT, I NOT having any more just to find out - LOL

Martha -- Thank you so much for taking time from your horrendously busy schedule to make this post. I check your blog everyday because I LOVE to find you've entered another post. The pictures are beautiful. Looking forward to web camming later today. I love you all so much!

Those pictures of Seth holding Silas are so precious! I can tell he holds him carefully and that's so sweet. I'm sure he's a big help to you and he was probably pretty proud of himself for getting to Silas to sleep. :-) Hope your family has a Merry Christmas!

Yesterday I went to take out the trash, and returned just to find Faith had picked up Hope out of the swing. I screamed twice in fear and horror. and frightened Faith so badly she dropped the baby on the floor. Faith felt aweful and it took forever to calm her down... and, I felt badly because I should have not paniced and caused the fall... well, Faith is only 3, hopefully by the time she is 7-8 she will know how to hold babies properly! Had to share that story after I saw how well Seth holds your baby.

Glad you're all doing well! I'm almost inspired enough to have a 3rd boy myself. (almost...) When you get a minute, would you email me your address again? I can't find it anywhere and there's a parcel...

Loved to see the pictures! I'm still trying to think of how I can get down there to get my hands on Silas! It's still killing me.
