Wouldn't have believed you ~
if five years ago you would have told me that I (along with a few others) would get a corduroy sports coat for my hubby's birthday (September 23rd). In fact, there would have been some good laughs and gags happening. But times and tastes change, and this is one of his gifts! Sorry to disappoint you, but I love the 60's-70's look! Well, some of them anyway. . . :-)
Here is the man himself - twenty-eight years ago when he was only two years old. What a little cutie! You can see how Ethan favors his daddy and not me.
Happy birthday, Troy; I love you!

Wow, back to cordoroy, hmmm! Just a few years ago I think you bought him a black leather one! Yes, Ethan does really look like his daddy! Tell him Happy Birthday from the Cook family!

Happy birthday! I wish I had a scanner to post Aaron's baby pics. I need to find one for Monday, for the wedding pics.

Actually, Sarah, that was a leather coat, and he no longer has it! :-( Since our journey together, I have purchased two leather coats for him. One was stolen, and the other. . .is gone. Not sure where its final destination was. For the sake of my money, I will never buy him another leather object again! It seems to ask for trouble.

Enjoy reading your blog. It's nice to be 'connected' to the internet again:) How much longer until the baby comes? Trint and Janette's Lilly is so cute and precious.

Sorry about the missing leather coat, I think you were pretty excited about being able to get it for him. If I remember correctly, you worked hard and saved up for that gift!
Cordoroy is actually a nice warm material... used to wear it some, I think, when I was a child! I was just teasing you earlier!
Are you really "great" with child yet, I sure would love to see a picture! I really feel not just pregnant, but fat too... but, I still made oatmeal cookies tonight... I let Faithy help... Yummy!

I have seen a picture of Martha's belly (thanks to her sister) and she is adorable! Martha doesn't feel this way, but I think she is very cute.

In relation to Les' comment, I just got off the phone with my sister, and she knows that her Christmas and birthday gifts for the next several years are in jeopardy if she starts shipping pictures of me to other bloggers! :-)
While on her SC visit a few weeks ago, she (Ahem) was not very nice and was snapping all sorts of mean photos of a poor unsuspecting gal who is great with child!
