Did you really ask that?!
Les, I can hardly believe you posed such a question! :-) After all the parties you and I have attended together. . .After all the times you have seen me swipe "real" icing. . .you ask if I used "canned?!" Not a chance! I go for the real stuff!
To answer the requests:

3. And just for Gail, below you will find my Mother's Banana Bread recipe that I use.

I cut the icing recipe in half and used regular vanilla - not the clear type.

I have never known you to use can, but I've known you to go to Meijer :)! Thanks for the receipe, I'll be using it soon.
Thanks so much for posting this, I've been wondering. Once I finish this jar of pickles, who knows, I may go surprise my family with a little treat....:-)
Sigh. . .I shouldn't have found such a good icing recipe when it is my downfall! I am dying to make a batch just so I can eat it. (Then my poor child will weigh about 15 lbs at birth!)
