By request of Seth,
Here is a blobfish.
When I showed this to him, he thought it should go on the blog.(Now go be grossed out like I am! Icky!)
The blobfish (Psychrolutes marcidus) is a fish that inhabits the deep waters off the coast of Australia and Tasmania. Due to the inaccessibility of its habitat, it is rarely seen by humans.

Ick! This human wishes she still hadn't seen one.
Gross, can't believe this is what I have to look forward to with Tyler!
Adam sure knew how to name things. ha
That's great! I want one.
Very cool, in a slimy kind of way. I think it looks like it would have an interesting personality. also looks a little like a grumpy old man.
Nice picture of Troy....(Tee hee just kidding!!)
Well, Troy agreed with Carrie and said he wanted one, too. (Gag!)
Seth and Ethan both told me they would pet one if given the chance. I truly think I might lose my lunch if I saw it in person. The mouth is so revolting to me!!!
This thing cracks me up! The mouth is gross and it does remind me of an old man. I think it would be cool to see one! The "nose" is interesting. What fun lessons you have in school. Will you home school me too?
Yuck!
Forgot to mention, Troy thought it looked a bit like "Ziggy."
That is utterly gross. I about lost my cookies when I saw it.
That is so funny - I immediately thought of Ziggy too! I agree it looks disgusting and I never knew they existed. What curriculum are you usin' girl?
Oh, also wanted to say that Angie could use this little guy as the mascot for her "blob" (as Gene'e grandmother calls it).
This lovely picture was not in our immediate studies; I found it on the blog of another homeschooler that I occasionally read.
