Good news:
1. When you are far, far away from Cincinnati, a frozen White Castle can be very tasty. Yes, yes, I know; that was the last thing I needed to give to my developing baby. It certainly tasted yummy to the mommy though! :-)
2. I have not heard the rooster in about a week. (Happy dance inserted here. Hee. Hee.) Now, I just have to get the nerve and opportunity to ask the other neighbors (who are good friends of the "fowl people") what brought about the blessed reprieve of noise.

Maybe Mr. Rooster Dude went to fowl heaven. I hope your prayers have been answered! :)
As for White Castles, I haven't had one of those greasy, little burgers in ages. Do you usually like them or is this just a pregnancy craving?
Hey, glad your surroundings have become quieter! I have been eating alot of stuff that is not healthy for my baby, unfortunately! I even drank a Mountain Dew today, and felt not too good about myself afterward. I don't drink alot of pop usually... gives me an upset tummy... and, it really doesn't quinch my thirst. Had a youth outing today, and was really thirsty, so I indulged! I haven't had White Castles very much.
Pregnant or not, I cannot STAND White Castle. Blech! Even the smell makes me sick. I'll bet you fed one to that rooster and it killed him!
Martha, I was wondering if you are needing any baby stuff... I seem to have accumulated more than necessary... Got extra car seats with bases, bouncers, umbrella stroller, toys, boys' and girls' clothes (don't ask... I am a good collecter), books, decorations, blankets, even two potty chairs (but, I think I am going to keep those because I need one to travel with us in the car)...well, I just have alot of stuff. It is nice to have backup stuff, but it is getting a little out of hand. I have had a quite a bit of things hand-me-down. Not sure how to get it to you, even if you wanted it... but I am sure we could come up with something! Don't know what you are having, but most of what I have extra is blue... although I have all girls! This stuff is NOT junky either! Give me a call or email me if you're interested!

So glad you're back at your computer. I desperately miss your posts after a few days.
Hope the neighborhood continues to be "roosterless!" -- Love you!
Who care about the burgers. Eat what sounds good to you.
Gotta love White Castles, pregnant or not! Have you been sleep walking? Could that be what happened to the rooster?
My oldest dd got sick on a shake a few years ago after our annual White Castle night out. So we haven't been back. Youngest dd sees it and hollers all the time for it so finally the other day dh humored her. As she was biting into the little burger, she frowned and said, "I don't like the gravy." Gravy?!?
Hey, I haven't gotton on your blog in forever, cause' I lost your address, but I LOVE your settings!!
Yes, I actually LOVE the greasy things! I have to throw all health cautions to the wind when I start downing them. :-)
Sarah C, I'll get back with you about the baby stuff. Thanks for offering.
"Gravy?!" Ha. That's too fuuny. Guess that is another word for the grease.
