My brother-in-law, Tracy, sent these brilliant home remedies, and I just had to pass on the wisdom! :-)
When choking on an ice cube, simply pour a cup of boiling water down your throat. Presto! The blockage will remove itself instantly.
Avoid cutting yourself while slicing vegetables by getting someone else to hold as you chop.
A mouse trap placed on the top of your alarm clock will prevent you from hitting the snooze button and falling back to sleep.
You only need two things in life - WD 40 and duct tape. If it doesn't move and should, use WD 40. If it does move and shouldn't, use duct tape.

too, too funny :) i love the ice cube one and the wd40 and duct tape is a close second :):)
I must keep boiling water handy, since I have a habit of crunching ice. Any advice on which color of duct tape is best? ;)
I love it! Especially the ice cube one! Made me laugh out loud (and it's after 12:30 a.m.) Yes, I really should be sleeping, but this blogging world has me hooked.
Those are the greatest. I laugh so much.
Howdy! Love checking your blog, as usual . . . but even more so now that we can't see you every week. (*sniff*) Finally started mine. Check it out: curtisandjennifer.blogspot.com
Miss yall!

PS--Tell Seth and Ethan "hi" for us!
I knew someone that tried to drink hot water while choking on an ice cube. Her mom had to finally give her the heimlich (I don't remeber how to spell it).
OK...Knowing Tracy, made these even funnier! (Like my grammer? =) Phillip and I were howling laughing.
Also, I enjoyed that "evening concert"... below...and DO KNOW THAT WONDERFUL FEELING when at last you feel like a real person again. You aren't on the couch, you actually get your dishes done, you are starting to enjoy your food again, and you are loving LIFE AND THAT LITTLE ONE INSIDE YOU! I've been there, and am soooo happy you are feeling better!
Love, Heather =)
Thanks for the laugh!
Very funny!
This is too too funny. I want to rmember to tell Marcia and Candy about the mouse trap on the snooze alarm. I'm sure that would be a permanent cure for "hitting" the snooze button.
Very cute!
