"Bargain Happy" Mama
That's me!!!! I have an aversion to paying retail for anything, so bargains get me hoppin'. Not forgetting my love for Ronald Reagan, my cousin, Les, gave me - - -
these two books while I was in OH. Thanks, Les. I have already been devouring them! (Les is also a "Bargain Mama" and discovered these books at the lovely low price of $2.00.)
Another OH friend, Candy Davis, thought of me while she was visiting a Vera Bradley outlet, and she snatched up - - -
one of my other favorites! Grab your chair - only $13.00 brand new!!!!! (Squealing!) Thanks for thinking of me, Candy!
My latest joy came last night when my neighbor, Kim Russo, and I went to a homeschool consignment sale, and I came home with - - -

Nice bargains...I'm happy with you! I love bargains too!! That's why Phillip is thrilled that there are no good thrift stores or consignment stores here. There are Good ones in OH and AZ...and I hit them BIG TIME in Dec. and Jan...so I'm good for another year or so, until we get to come back. =) Hope you had a wonderful Mother's Day...enjoyed seeing the cute pic of you and the boys, with Seth pointing to your flower. =)
Love, Heather =)
That's so neat...I'm hoping to get in on one of those up here as well. Hope I do that good. I see you are still putting the Ikea bag to good use....I'm proud of you :) I forgot to tell you when you were here, that they just had the ground braking for the new Ikea in West Chester. To say I'm very excited isn't quite adequate! LOL! Now you'll have another good reason to come north! It should be finished by late fall....just in time for Christmas! Thanks to Marcia Davis,(and Chris getting their heads together) I got the black microfiber tote for Mother's Day. Chris had it waiting for me on my seat when I got in the van Sunday. Of course there were squeals of delight. I like your petal pink too. That should be a fun cheerful one to have around.
Sorry about the ground braking...needs an "e"....that's when I'm embarrassed to say I home school. People are going mmmhhhmmm....yeah, right...poor kids! :)
Where is that outlet, since no one thought of me.....
I just bought that book on the left for my dh a couple weeks ago. (whispering) I only paid a dollar! (normal voice again) but $2 isn't bad!!
I paid $2 for both books together! I am the last of the big spenders!
Please excuse me while I drool on your bag. I didn't even know there was a VB outlet 'til one of the ladies at church mentioned it. She went to their big bonanza in Fort Wayne and got a bunch of bags. I'm so jealous...
Where is that VB outlet? Mmmm... our next vacation spot... I love the bags but can't quite bring myself to cough up the cash that they require. Oh well, my $14.99 bag from Kirkland's looks pretty close and will have to do for now.
Nothing feels better than a bargain!
