"Winter" in SC
Yup. I was working outside yesterday. While a good many of my friends are posting beautiful pictures of ice and snow, I was busy preparing the ground for fresh mulch. In my past, I have never used the words "February" and "landscaping" in the same sentence. A bit of an oxymoron in my vocabulary! The temps are cold at night, but usually back in the 40's-50's and sometimes 60's during the day. We end up working in the yard, playing basketball, going for walks. . . Sigh. . . I miss the snow. I even enjoyed shoveling it! Guess I need to be content with staring at the Tupperware container in my freezer. :-)
Sorry I have not been as regular with my postings. I have been delving into some projects lately. I do have some funny stories to share though. My sons have been telling me that their bodies "talk" to them. Hmmm. Sounds a little strange, huh?! More details later. I need to finish a bunch of jobs and get ready for a Friday night date with my Honey! Fun! Fun!

I wish I could fulfill your dreams and send all my snow and ice your way. I was stuck in this house for days! The snow was frozen over with ice and the boys couldn't go out in it. Also, Aaron had hurt his knee and could barely walk all week! It's been fun (said with lots of sarcasm)!
I will miss checking out your blog for the next several days. Please pray for our journey to Camp Lejeune, and the numerous marines returning this weekend. We are very excited and blessed to witness this emotional homecoming. Too bad I don't have and blog and could post all my photos. Maybe I will get a new computer sometime soon.

Hmmm, "talking bodies"--that could be interesting! Want another tub of snow?

I could send you a tub or two myself. Though it looks very pretty, my feet are weary of constantly being wet and cold.

I'm curious (yet hesitant at the same time) to hear how the boys' bodies are talking to them. If my boys told me something like that, I probably wouldn't ask.

Stephanie, I would love to "play" in your snow! The boys would have a blast!

Julie, do you mean to tell me you didn't go sledding for three hours?! :-)
Guess what I did on Saturday?! I had a wild notion and browsed through all the pictures from the Frankfort school trying to see if I could pick out your kids. :-) I had forgotten they would have grown since I last saw them. Ha. You know how you expect kids to freeze when you leave somewhere.
