In keeping with tradition. . .
I thought you might enjoy a few pictures of my "early" life. Some of you will have a great appreciation for the hair! :-) Speaking of hair, I recall sitting on a couch on Josephine St. in Cincinnati, browsing through old photos of a friend, and laughing until my sides ached! In return, I give full permission to Nancy Lambeth to sit and howl at these pictures! :-) (Sorry I do not have a video of my first home for you to enjoy, Nancy!)
~Portrait at three years old~
~Does anyone (except Leslie Clark) know who the girl on the right is?This picture was snapped at Eden Grove Academy.~
My sister, Joanna, is Mary, and I am Gabriel.
How fitting - an angel! Cough. Cough.~
"perfect" this day! :-) Seth spied this and wanted to know why my
glasses were "so big." I wanted to know why my hair was "so big!"~
~With a friend, Stacy Marshall. Ummm, not sure about the t-shirts.We must have thought they were pretty cool. Another great "hair day" in that
time of my life.~
It was only a matter of time before my hair started "deflating."
It is nice not to worry about having a hair dryer handy, rain and wind
to split the "poof," having one side lower than the other. . .~
Nancy, are you still laughing?! :-) I hope you enjoyed these!

I miss the big hair--it went better with my big head, I think!
The hair just shows your age. Everyone had "the poof"!
I forgot how big that poof was! Thanks for sharing. Tell me again why we were so proud of the hair?? And I just might get the nerve to put that video on here. It's really sweet in a funny sort of way! Then it would be your turn to laugh :)
wow Les, great minds are thinking at the same time!
This is hilarious! I remember being in my late teens wondering why people in the 1980's college yearbooks didn't know they looked wierd. Now that I have a decade behind me since college, I can look at my yearbook and wonder why I didn't know I looked so wierd! What's even funnier is that the girls that I thought were so pretty and preppy (to coin a term from that era) actually looked really dorky, too! Kinda makes ya feel better! Ha!!
That's hilarious!!!
I consider myself fortunate to have never been able to tame my wild hair into poofing. At least nothing that could be measured, anyway! The glasses on the other hand? Whew!
This is Sue of Cincy and I laughed and laughed at this post! I was right in there with you. I just wish I was brave enough to post mine, but I'm not! Lol! I remember when some of those pics were taken!
Oh, come on, Suzanna, let's see some pictures! I actually have a few of us from the old days! :-)
As for the little girl in the photo, it is Lisa (Burton) Robinson.
