Thought you might like closer views of the buttons.
Finished product - just for you, Troy!
(Pardon the poor photo quality. There are no windows in this
bathroom, and the lighting was creating problems.)
Another project out of the packing tub and finally on the wall!
These prints are from Seth in his younger years. To create these, I put finger paint all over his hands and feet (Poor guy is very ticklish, too :-) and pressed them on paper. We then painted and cut paper to make colored border. I spread some more paint on a few Dollar Tree frames and ended with his prints as a keepsake! I love making decorations that have to do with the kids. Seth and Ethan are continually drawn to these items, ask questions, or want me to retell the story of its making.

Does Troy not like your button frames? I think it is a cute idea. I'm sure the fact that they are in two frames will grow on me a little more. I'm not totally decided about it yet. I'm sure I'll like it by tomorrow. I have aquired a taste for your decorating. Remember the orange walls?
I love the framed buttons! Thanks for yet another decorating idea - I sure need all the help I can get!
Neat idea! Just wondering if you hot-glued the buttons to material or what exactly. Are the frames extra thick and made for 3D objects or are they regular flat picture frames?
I love messing with buttons. I've added neat ones to clothes and curtains, but I haven't tried framing them yet. I shall have to experiment...
Love the button picture! What a great idea!
Thank you for the nice compliments; I have so much fun rigging up different types of decor.
Janette, I actually used "Elmer's" glue. (Too lazy to dig out the glue gun. :-) Believe it or not, the frames came from "Dollar Tree." I was so excited to find such nice ones there. They are "regular" frames, not extra thick.
