Why do I have to be like this?!
Remember this room?
Originally it was the homeschool/office ~ until a new prince came to the castle and claimed his domain. All of this furniture has found its way into other rooms and the wonderful storage shed that just became a backyard fixture. (Happy dance. More details later.) As much as I despise painting, (Reiteration on the despise part!!!!!) I wanted to get this room looking like a little boy's bedroom. Oh, yes - a boy's bedroom with a guest bed in it, too. :-)
As for the room decor, white walls just don't cut it for me. Well, on rare occasion they do. Why do I have to be like that?! I cannot remember a time in my life when I liked white walls! My inspiration finally hit me, and I have been taping, taping, taping. . . Taping stripes and squares. (Yes, I typed that correctly.) Now that the dreadful job of taping is finished, I am ready to roll. The colors, you ask? Green, red, blue, yellow, chalkboard paint, and maybe a little orange. Oh, why can't I be happy with white walls?!This is so much work!

I'm very anxious to see the finished product. I love your style! Sounds like it's going to be really neat. Oh, and there are no white walls in my house either. I think all the white/cream walls at GBS did it for me! :-)
I would love to have my walls paited other colors but cream, but I rent! Knowing your gift for decorating, I am sure that his room is going to be adorable! Will be looking forward to seeing a post of the finished product!

Yee Haw!! You go girl! I LOVE paint! I think one room in our house is white, the kitchen and that consists of very little white!! I will look forward to the results!
