A Valentine Story
Remember that I mentioned my Valentine was taking me on a date? (You can borrow the above picture if you do not take a snapshot of the real subjects! :-) We were at our table when one of his professors walked by us. What a pleasant surprise! It was not long before Dr. Cook's wife arrived at his side and added to the conversation. They soon disappeared, and we were again left to ourselves.
Until. . .
Dr. Cook's wife returned to our table with a, "Warren said to give this to you to help pay for the meal." (Or something along that line.) What a sweet gesture! Sentimental old me almost cried! We have been so befriended by many at BJU.

We've had something similar to that happen to us. I know what a blessing it can be. We love BJU. My son starts there in the fall. I am so happy for him. My years there were some of the best years of my life.
That's very sweet! Makes you feel loved, doesn't it?
Martha,
I didn't realize you guys were at BJ. Where do you go to church? My aunt and uncle, John and Jean Yount, live there in Greenville. I think they attend Calvary Baptist, and all their kids went to BJ. Just curious as to whether you had met them.
Senkyoshi,
That's so exciting about your son! Will you be there for the beginning of school?
Stephanie,
We have been here since August of last year. Troy is doing his grad work at BJU. He may know of your family; I'll ask him. We actually attend a Bible Methodist church in Easley. Is the church you mentioned actually called "Mt Calvary Baptist?" We have new friends that attend there.
