Decor update
~ Original (and institutional) color~
~New yellow and tan colors~
~ Clothes rack in the master bedroom~
I lloovvee doorknobs, so you imagine my excitement when I saw this! My aunt (Joan Rollins) was with me at the time and purchased it (all the while protesting that it was ugly) as a gift for me. My mother and sisters (and Aunt Joan) have a running joke that if they think something is weird or ugly, they should buy it for me. :-)

~My "framed" Willow Tree figurine~

This piece was purchased as a "going away" gift by our Ohio church. The room in which it is found is the master bath. To the left is the garden tub, and the mirror on the right is reflecting the opposite brown wall. I love brown/blue together!

~ My other Willow Tree piece from my men~

This frame happens to be a yard sale treasure. I placed a wallpaper scrap that matches the dresser in the background of the photo. I always like to "connect" things in my own way.

Current project involves photo frames and buttons.

It should be posted it in a few days. Until then. . .

keep guessing. :-)

I have grown to appreciate your "uniqueness". In fact I have always loved your decorating, it would never be anything that I would ever think of. As you know, after I saw your orange room, I went and painted one of my rooms orange! I would love to see your house in person!

I think it is wonderful! I wish to heaven that I had just a small amount of decorating ability. I won't even take a picture of my house, YOU WOULDN'T want to see it.
BTW, shows what a friend I am, it took me quite a while to even find out you had left OHIO! AHHHH! Let's keep in touch.

Love the decorating and color choices. Very nice. I like the way you'framed' your figurine and the framing of your other photo. Do you scrapbook much?

Vicki, I am getting back in the swing of scrapbooking. For years I was too busy with babies, piano lessons, house cleaning jobs, etc. Since our move, I have more time and a homeschool room, so I am slowly getting updated. This is the first time I have a place to shut the door on the mess, and that is very appealing to me. I used to clutter the kitchen table, and that is no fun. It is more enjoyable now because the boys like to play "art" with all the scissors, paper, stickers... It is a nice way for all three of us to work on something together. Do you have any online stores where you buy products?
