The dutiful bday post!
The month of birthdays has come and long gone, and here I sit to document. . . I know, I know people get a bit tired of reading how others celebrate, but what gets mentioned in my musings guide me as I scrapbook and do photo albums. So you'll have to bear with me or just ignore the post as I recount what we did this year. :-)
Good old Ethan was the first to party this year, and let me tell you - - this boy is ALL about birthdays! He counts down the days, asks a million questions, wants to invite all of his friends, continually asks for party hats, balloons, etc. Speaking of those dreadful and noisy party blowers, it is very difficult to get three boys to blow into those at the same time for a pic. I finally gave up!
In our house I allow the birthday person to choose all of their meals and dessert, and Ethan started his day with blueberry muffins, orange juice, and a big grin. :-)

Lunch rolled around to his love of hot dogs and cheese puffs along with a side of Koolaid. (And another big grin.)
The party happened the day after his birthday when my parents and sisters were here to visit. That was the great day when he was able to enjoy balloons, ribbons, hats, noise, gifts, and cake all for him.
Newly turned seven year old.
We celebrate with Seth two weeks later on the 28th. His chosen breakfast was chocolate chip pancakes, and lunch found us at Burger King. We surprised him with dinner at Golden Corral - the place that every growing and hungry boy likes. :-)
Hershey's White and Dark Chocolate Torte which was a winner!
My family was once again down for the end of the month to celebrate with Seth and me, so I was able to enjoy a day with little work (thanks to them). My youngest sister and I spent the day going to many places I wanted to discover but did not feel like hauling three kids as well. I gorged my pregnant belly at a pizza buffet and headed home to open gifts with my little eager "helper." The evening ended with a wonderful date with a handsome man who took me to Outback Steakhouse. I suppose being 33 isn't too difficult! :-)
Along with the birthdays comes the ever obligatory January photo shoot of my three little men. I "love them to pieces" and almost feel tired just thinking of all the energy in this portrait. Life is never dull here. . .
