"Toofless"
Seth lost his first tooth on Feb. 28 and is quite happy with the gap! He was so proud of his tooth that he had high hopes of toting it around church, but his mother thought others wouldn't be as interested (if not actually "grossed out" by the tooth). Since most of his friends have lost a good deal of theirs, he has been anxiously awaiting the departure of his own teeth. I was happy that the event was post-phonics/learning to read stage. It certainly made that process easier as we never had to deal with a slipping tongue and temporary lisp. I do love his new way of speaking though! :-)
Yeth, it is thertainly adorable.

Connor will be so jealous! He's been dying to "spit out a tooth." Hmmm, don't think he gets it yet...
Mollie has a book about losing your teeth/proper care of your teeth etc. She told me the other day that she's going to get married "when she grows up and her teeth fall out!" Picturing her as a toothless bride sure made me laugh!! Hey, I heard you guys are going to be in Dayton in May. Maybe we'll see you at church!! Mollie would love to see Seth and Ethan again.
My boys never lost a tooth until first grade. The lisp is one of my biggest pet peeves. I think it's because I had to take speech therapy for it as a child, now it annoys me. Jared has a lisp and Aaron has a slight one. I guess another one of God's ways to teach me patience!
Julie, Mollie's comment about marriage is so funny! I really laughed on that one.
Yes, we are very excited about our OH visit. Troy has some meetings up there, so we decided to throw some fun days in the mix.
Christopher told me a couple weeks ago that he wants to always stay 4 (he even prayed about it) because he doesn't want to grow up and lose his teeth because it will hurt! I'm sure when he actually gets to that age, it won't seem so bad and he will be excited about being "toofless"!
